Entry fees: In hand classes £6 each £8 on the day: Ridden classes £7 each £10 on the day: 

Disabled riders may compete in any class at £5 each unless specified.

A donation of £2 per entry for first aid/arena party

Class 1                     NOVICE RIDDEN COMBINATION

Open to horses or ponies, mares or geldings, 4 years old and over, not to have been placed first in a ridden class. 

 

Class 2                     RIDDEN YOUNGSTER

Open to horses or ponies, mares or geldings, 4, 5 and  6 year olds.

 

Class 3                     RIDDEN FAMILY HORSE OR PONY

Open to horses or ponies suitable to be ridden by any members of the family.

 

Class 4                     RIDDEN LOCAL HORSE OR PONY

Open to horses or ponies stabled with 15 miles of the showground.

 

Class 5                     RIDDEN VETERAN

Open to horses or ponies 15 years and over—will not be asked to gallop.

 

Class 6                     OPEN RIDDEN MOUNTAIN AND MOORLAND

Open to small and large breed mountain and moorland ponies, registered and unregistered, riders any age.

Class 7                     OPEN RIDDEN SHOW HUNTER

Open Hunter,  mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, 15hh and over.

 

Class 8                     OPEN RIDDEN HACKS AND RIDING HORSE

Show Riding types, hacks and riding horses, mares and geldings, 4 years old and over, 14.2hh and over.

 

Class 9                     OPEN RIDDEN COB

Native/traditional cobs or show cob types, 4 years old and over.  To be shown either with full mane, tail and feathered or hogged and trimmed. 

 

Class 10                   OPEN RIDDEN COLOURED HORSE OR PONY

Native or non native piebald, skewbald or spotted horse or pony, mares or geldings, 4 years old and over.

 

Class 11                   OPEN RIDDEN PART BRED AND FOREIGN BREEDS

Ridden horses or ponies, mares or geldings 4 years old and over, to be registered part bred of any breed or a registered foreign breed.

 

Class 12                   OPEN RIDING PONIES AND SHOW HUNTER PONIES

Open to riding ponies and show hunter ponies, 14.2 and under, mares and geldings, 4 years old and over.

 

OPEN RIDDEN CHAMPIONSHIP— 1st and 2nd from above classes to compete

  

Please note:  Apart from the lead rein classes, genuine lead rein riders may also only compete in Class 18

A POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP WILL RUN THROUGHOUT THE DAY, WITH THE COMPETITORS GAINING THE MOST POINTS TO RECEIVE A SASH AND SPECIAL ROSETTE FOR CHAMPION AND RESERVE
