CLASS 2 PURE ARABIAN 4 yrs & over

 

CLASS 3 FAMILY HORSE OR PONY 4 yrs & over. Suitable for any member of the family.

 

CLASS 4 VETERAN HORSE OR PONY 15 yrs & over

 

CLASS 5 HUNTER 4 yrs & over exceeding 15hh

 

CLASS 6 RIDING HORSE/HACK 4 yrs & over exceeding 15hh

 

CLASS 7 COLOURED HORSE/PONY 4 yrs & over. Piebald, Skewbald or Spotted.

 

CLASS 8 SHOW/HUTER PONY 4 yrs & over. 15hh & under. (Class may be split at the discretion of

RING THREE

9.00 – 9.45 Clear Round Jumping – £3. Ticket from the Secretary – last ticket sold at 9.30 am

 

CLASS 47 Bottom Hole. 14.2hh & under. Can be led or assisted. Novices only please.

Rosettes to all competitors.

 

CLASS 48 Starter Stakes. Can be led or assisted. Fences approx 1’3” – 1’6”

 

CLASS 49 12 years & under. Can be led or assisted. Fences approx 1’6” – 2’

 

CLASS 50 Novice. Combination not to have won a show jumping class. Fences approx 2’ - 2’3”

 

CLASS 51 Mountain & Moorland. Fences appropriate height for section will not exceed 2’6” Class will be split into small and large if there are 6 entries in each section

 

CLASS 52 Midway Stakes. Fences approx 2’3” – 2’6”

 

CLASS 53 Intermediate Stakes. Fences approx 2’6” – 2’9”

 

CLASS 54 Open. Fences approx 2’9”

RULES

 

1. It is a condition of entry that all competitors agree to abide by the rules and accept the disclaimer of liability.

 

2. Competitors will accept the Judge’s decision. If there is an objection it must be lodged in writing with the secretary together with a deposit of £25 immediately after the judging of the class. The deposit will be refunded only if the objection is upheld.

 

3. Whilst both Ashford Valley Riding for the Disabled Group and the owners of Saddlesdane have the relevant insurance cover neither will be held liable for any accident, damage, or loss to competitors, owners or spectators. It is up to competitors to ensure they have adequate public liability insurance for themselves and their animals.

 

4. NO REFUNDS OF ENTRY FEES unless a certificate from either a vet or a doctor is produced.

 

5. The organisers reserve the right to refuse to accept an entry/entries without giving a reason.

 

6. The organisers reserve the right to cancel any class with less than 4 entries or to amalgamate suitable classes with fewer than 4 entries.

 

7. It is up to competitors to ensure they are at the ring in time for their class. The organisers will make every effort to ensure that classes do not clash but will not be held responsible should this occur.

 

7. Hard hats to British Standard must be worn by riders at all times.

 

8. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Persons acting in such a manner will be requested to leave the showground. Competitors will also be asked to remove any animal which is behaving in what the organisers consider to be a dangerous manner.

 

9. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up after.

 

10. Please respect the showground. Please DO NOT muck out your horse box or trailer. Please put litter in the receptacles provided or take it home.
